Soffass, a world leader in the production of tissue paper for hygienic and domestic use, entrusted Terna Energy Solutions (TES) with the implementation of a project for the revamping and upgrading of medium voltage lines, namely the revamping of the switchboards of the Command and Control Protection System and auxiliary services for the 132 kV electrical substation of the customer's plant sited in Porcari (Lucca). Moreover Tamini, a subsidiary of TES, collaborated on the project, taking care of the reconditioning of a HV/MV transformer dedicated to the same substation.

The entire activity allowed the customer to equip itself with a state-of-the-art Command and Control Protection System, enabling an increasingly efficient and rational use of the electric energy.

Despite the critical timeframe available for the activities, the success of the initiative was triggered by the synergetic action established between the Group's companies, paving the way for new opportunities of collaboration.
