The Terna group is the owner of the Italian national transmission grid (NTG) for high and extra-high voltage electricity, and is the largest independent electricity transmission system operator (TSO) in Europe. We have a public service role, crucial to ensuring the country's electricity supply and enabling the entire Italian electricity system to function. With approximately 75 thousand km of high and extra-high-voltage power lines, over 900 substations across the national territory and 30 cross-border interconnections, it can count on over 6,000 professionals.
