The infrastructure

The national electricity grid is the ideal vehicle for the development of broadband infrastructure. Our fiber optic network, unique in Italy, is designed to guarantee high performance in terms of latency, reliability, and resilience. Thanks to its widespread coverage and redundant structure, it ensures connectivity even in rural areas and responds promptly to market needs, offering greater operational autonomy.

The optical cables, installed along high-voltage power lines using OPGW (Optical Fiber inside the Ground Wire) technology, guarantee a high level of protection against atmospheric agents and external damage, such as fire, vandalism, or excavation.

We provide an Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) for dark fiber, providing customers with an extensive aerial fiber network installed on the guard wires of high-voltage power lines, ensuring a stable, secure, and long-term network infrastructure.

By purchasing IRU, customers acquire an exclusive, multi-year right to use the fiber, benefiting from a scalable solution without the costs and time associated with laying new lines.

The high reliability of the aerial infrastructure, combined with complementary maintenance and technical support services, allows for the construction of high-performance, resilient networks, ideal for operators who require critical, high-quality connectivity.

Ancillary services: housing

Housing is a key element for those who need secure, high-performance points along the network, promoting stable, scalable, and high-quality connectivity.

We provide customers with dedicated spaces within electrical substations for the installation of network equipment and optical regeneration systems. Thanks to its location within strategic, protected, and constantly monitored sites, the service guarantees high standards of physical security, operational continuity, and power supply reliability.

The environments are designed to ensure optimal operating conditions and are ideal for signal regeneration along the fiber optic backbones laid on high-voltage power lines.

This solution allows our customers to optimize the performance of their network, reduce infrastructure costs, and benefit from the capillarity of the national electrical infrastructure. We guarantee timely intervention, specialized maintenance, and reliable management of the components housed.

Operation & Maintenance

Continuous monitoring and timely interventions guarantee an efficient connection at all times, capable of reliably supporting even the most critical services.

To complete our offering, Operation & Maintenance service guarantees the continuity and reliability of fiber optic infrastructure through specialized maintenance activities on both the network and dedicated housings.

To ensure connection continuity, the Operation & Maintenance service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
