PAM Panorama, a historic Italian company in the large-scale retail sector with over 60 years of business, has signed a contract with Avvenia for the replacement of the diesel generator at a store in Milan with an electric heat pump for winter and summer air conditioning. The activity and the related contract were developed within an EnPC (Energy Performance Contract) framework and included the design, construction of the system and guarantee of its energy and functional performance. The solution developed by Avvenia has allowed the customer to define an energy saving forecast based on the monitoring of the ex-ante performance of the old system and the estimated ex-post performance of the new system. Furthermore, continuous monitoring of the energy and environmental parameters makes it possible to identify any system anomalies to intervene swiftly and maintain the efficiency of the system. Avvenia also supported the customer in the management of the related Heat Account in order to obtain the associated state incentives.
